If you already love mystery themed novels and detective shows, then this class will give you the chance to test your critical thinking skills in hypothetical situations both based in fantasy and reality. You will learn how to excel in puzzles and riddles and will find yourself using lateral thinking to be more creative in your guesses. The puzzles and riddles will involve colors, wordplay, shapes and math. The mysteries will be presented to you through images and text on the screen. I will narrate the story and explain each puzzle, encouraging you to use what you see or hear to make informed guesses. You will look for misdirections, and break down the steps necessary to solve the puzzles. You will share and debate hypotheses with your classmates ultimately working together to solve the mysteries before class ends. Skills
